Children's Programs
First Steps: (Newborn - 3 years)
In
the First Steps Class, we want to show the children
the love of Christ by holding, comforting, and playing with them, as they are
learning to be apart from their parents. The First Steps Class starts at 9:30 with
the Spiritual Formation Classes and runs until the end of Worship
Service.
Stepping Stones: (4 - 7 years)
In the Stepping Stones class, we begin to teach the children
more about their own spiritual walk with Jesus Christ, how to study the Word,
look up bible verses, pray and make Jesus the Savior and Lord of their life.
Again, we use the teaching of God’s word along with crafts and games that will
help them to remember what His Word is teaching them.
Sunday School begins at 9:30 and goes until 10:15.
Trail Blazers: (2nd - 5th Grade)
In the
Trail Blazers class, Elementary Kids from 2nd -5th grades gather
for creative Bible lessons. Follow up activities with their own age
group, games and discussion makes these classes a great, fun place to be
on a Sunday morning. Sunday School begins at 9:30 and goes until 10:15.
Children's Church: (4 years - 2nd Grade)
Children's Church at
Summit View Church provides a safe and nurturing
environment for growth and encouragement through a program suited to the needs
of children during the Worship hour.
Children’s Church is offered in conjunction with
Sunday morning worship services for children ages 4 through 2nd grade.
Children come with their families for the beginning of the service
(about 20 minutes) and then leave with the adult leader. Children are
divided into two groups: 4 years through 7 years (Stepping Stones)
and 2nd through 5th grade (Trail Blazers).
