Summit View
Church: Life looks
better at the Summit!
Who is
Summit View Church?
A view of
the earth below from the summit of a 14,000 foot mountain offers one
of the most breath-taking, exhilarating, wondrous, and deeply
reflective experiences that a human being can have in the physical
world. It is from the crest of such mountain tops that so many
poems, songs, art, and even dreams have found their beginning and
inspiration. America the Beautiful is just one example. In the
same way, we are a group of people being inspired to a spiritual
ascent
and a better view of life through Jesus Christ. We
invite you to join us as we discover
together that life truly does look better at the Summit!
Vision:
Our dream is that we would be a vibrant community of people who
together experience the glory of God in every aspect of our lives as we help
others to see His glory too.
Mission:
(How we pursue Vision): The mission of Summit View Church is to pursue
the joy of God’s glory, through abiding in His Son, listening to Him
through His Word, walking in His Spirit, communing with Him in prayer,
ministering to one another, and seeing Him reflected in His people and His
creation.

Core
Values:
Theocentric: What we do as
a church should always center around the supremacy of God and His
Kingdom.
Gospel
Orientation: The person and
sacrifice of Jesus Christ has opened up the best way for us to know
truth, peace, joy, life, love, and hope – His is a gift worth
celebrating!
Authentic
Community: We are committed
to pursuing genuine, loving, and caring relationships
with one another while inviting others to experience God's vision for
relationships.
Creative
Community: We do not seek
to be a homogenous group of people, but rather recognize that God’s
creativity is expressed in our differences.
Sense of
Mission: Our church is not
an end in and of itself. We recognize God as One who is active in
revealing Himself to others and we commit to joining Him in that
pursuit - both near and far.
Spiritual
Trust: Our abiding hope is
not supported by an ever changing culture, but rather by God Himself
who is sovereign above all things and One who truly cares and
truly loves.
